The Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe of Washington continues to search for a fisherman who went missing a week ago.

Dean Harvey, 48, a tribal member, and his brother went out fishing on separate boats on November 25. When Harvey failed to returned, Robert Romero became worried and immediately alerted local authorities.

The U.S. Coast Guard later found Harvey's boat but no sign of the man. His family is holding out hope that he swam to shore to one of the islands in the area,

“We are dedicated to doing everything reasonable to find Dean Harvey and I am proud of our community members who have stepped up to aid in the search efforts,” Chairman Jeromy Sullivan said in a statement, The North Kitsap Herald reported.
