The Yurok Tribe of California will launch a river ferry service.

The tribe began construction on the 25-foot, 12 passenger boat on April. Service is expected to start next month.

The service will cut down travel time between Klamath and Sregon Village to just 45 minutes, KAEF-TV reported. Normally, it's a three-hour circuitous drive, according to Google Maps.

The ferry is part of the tribe's Klamath River Jet Bout Tours. The dock is located in Klamath.
