Colorado River Indian Tribes host film fest and frybread contest

The Colorado River Indian Tribes are hosting a film festival and frybread contest next week.

The NatiVisions Film Festival takes place at Bluewater Cinemas, a tribally-owned business in Parker, Arizona, from September 24 through September 26. The lineup includes Rhymes for Young Ghouls, Dancing on the Moon and Songs My Brother Taught Me.

The 5th annual frybread contest takes place at the theater on September 26. The tribe is offering $1,000 in cash prizes to the best bread makers.
