The Navajo Nation will be getting some major exposure when it hosts a Division I college basketball game on the reservation.

The Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Eagles will go up against the Northern Arizona University Lumberjacks at the Beeholdzil Fighting Scouts Events Center in Ft. Defiance, Arizona, tomorrow evening. The game will be broadcast on FOX Sports Arizona at 7pm Mountain time.

"By bringing college-level athletic exposure to our youth and high school seniors, we’d like to emphasize that they too can be successful in athletics while pursuing their education beyond high school," President Russell Begaye said in a press release.

The game also offers some exposure for Embry-Riddle. The school's basketball team is in its first year of play.

“We’re excited for this opportunity and look forward to it,” Eagles head coach Eric Fundalewicz said. “We’re honored to be a part of this game and excited that NAU would present this opportunity to us.”

The Beeholdzil Fighting Scouts Event Center seats 6,500 people.
