Mohegan Tribe opens first location of Smashburger in Rhode Island

The Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut continues to expand its economy.

The tribe opened a new location of the Smashburger franchise in Rhode Island. The outlet in Warwick is a first in the state.

The tribe brought the popular burger chain to Connecticut in 2014 and plans to open up to 16 locations in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
