Elijah “Bear” Diaz, a young member of the Barona Band of Mission Indians in California, has been missing since August 29, 2015.

Diaz, 20, was last seen at his home in El Cajon. He was on crutches due to a foot injury and was unable to drive himself so his family wonders whether he left on his own or was forced to go.

There have been few clues as to Diaz's whereabouts. There's been no activity on his bank account or his social media accounts, The San Diego Union-Tribune reported.

Family members and friends conducted a search over the weekend in hopes of getting the word out.

Anyone with information is asked to call the El Cajon police at (619) 441-5530 or the Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.
