The Coeur d'Alene Tribe of Idaho kicks off its annual powwow on Friday.

The Julyamsh Powwow took a break last year after the tribe canceled it in response to a gaming dispute with the state. But it's back this year at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds.

The event runs through Sunday.
