A National Guard firefighting squad from Rapid City will deploy to Romania next year, The Rapid City Journal reported on July 8 "The unit will first travel to Fort Bliss, Texas, for training prior to deployment. It will be the second deployment for the unit, that last coming in 2003-05 in Iraq," the paper reported.
