Chairman of Confederated Tribes of Chehalis Reservation resigns

Chairman Don Secena of the Confederated Tribes of the Chehalis Reservation has resigned, according to news reports.

Secena just won re-election to a second term in November. But he stepped down due to health reasons, according to the report. He previously served as vice chair for eight years.

Vice Chairman Jessie Goddard will serve as acting chairman until the position is filled.

The tribe is based in Washington state.
