Forum for Missing and Murdered Diné Relatives set for Arizona

New from the Missing and Murdered Diné Relatives Working Group.

TUBA CITY, Arizona -- The Missing and Murdered Diné Relatives Working Group is proud to host a fourth community forum in Tuba City to discuss and create awareness surrounding trauma affecting our Navajo male relatives, updates from the White House MMIW Task Force: Operation Lady Justice, and how the community can work with Navajo law enforcement on missing persons cases.

The Missing & Murdered Diné Relatives Forum #4 takes place on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Tuba City Chapter House. The agenda [PDF: Draft] will include:
• Navajo perspective: role of Navajo men in society

• Facilitated discussion on effects of trauma on Navajo male relatives

• Updates on the MMDR project

• Updates from the White House MMIW Task Force: Operation Lady Justice

• Empowering Navajo men and youth to help end violence

• Working with Navajo law enforcement on missing persons cases
