Rebuilding White Clay
A tiny Nebraska town once known for being a destructive source of alcohol for Pine Ridge Reservation residents, could be a model of hope and healing.
White Clay’s liquor establishments were closed down in 2017. Now a collection of visionary community members see the town as a potential hub for substance abuse treatment and transition facilities for vulnerable populations.
