American Rescue Plan Act: Funding for Tribes for Small Business Credit Support and Investments
Program Overview:
The American Rescue Plan, signed into law by President Biden on March 11, 2021, includes over $31 billion for Indian tribes to continue responding and recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic. Included in this funding is $500 million for tribes to provide credit support or invest in small businesses. Tribe must provide a Notice of Intent by April 10 to participate and receive funding. This webinar will provide an overview of the Small Business Credit Initiative, how these funds can be used by Tribes to support small businesses, and what actions Tribes should consider taking to access and use these funds.
