The Simpsons in Indian Country

printer friendly
Indians are no strangers to The Simpsons. From episodes about tribal casinos to in-jokes about tribal gaming propositions, the FOX animated show has often found ways to include the First Americans in Springfield.

So it's not surprise that The Simpsons Movie also features a Native character who plays a prominent role in the story line. Of course the portrayal isn't exactly authentic (this is a cartoon after all) but given the lack of Indian characters on screen, we'll take what we can get!

We're not going to spoil the movie if you haven't seen it, but here's a few screen shots for your viewing pleasure. Have a good weekend!
