Connecticut's two tribally-owned casinos are joining other Indian gaming facilities in offering coinless slot machines to customers.
The Mohegan Tribe's casino installed about 300 ticketed machines last November, The New London Day reports. The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation has had its 400 machines since 2001.
The coinless machines required a change in the way the tribes report revenues to the state.
A new agreemeent was reached to ensure the state receives 25 percent of slot revenues.
