The Ho-Chunk Nation of Wisconsin is getting rid of Class III games that had been authorized by a tribal-state compact.
A provision authorizing new games, including craps, roulette and poker, was struck down by the state Supreme Court last month. The tribe posted a notice saying it was complying with the ruling.
The ruling is being appealed by Gov. Jim Doyle (D), who signed new compacts with 11 tribes.
