Polls duel over Tohono O'odham Nation off-reservation casino

The Tohono O'odham Nation of Arizona released a poll earlier this month that said about 75 percent of voters supported the tribe's off-reservation casino.

But a group that includes the Gila River Indian Community has released a rival poll. The results from Keeping The Promise show that 57 percent aren't interested in another casino in the state while 42 percent are against an off-reservation casino.

Either way, the casino is controversial. It's spawned litigation and a bill in Congress that would block the tribe from using its land for gaming.

The Obama administration is supporting the tribe so far.
