All five tribes in North Dakota signed new Class III gaming compacts with Gov. Jack Dalrymple (R) on Thursday.

The deals run for 10 years with an option to renew for another 10 years. Two additional tribes will also be able to engage in gaming on their waterways -- a provision that was already included in one compact.

The Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara Nation, the Spirit Lake Nation, the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians and the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate signed the compacts.
