Tuolumne Band plans soft opening for $22M hotel at casino

The Tuolumne Band of Me-Wuk Indians in California is planning an April 1 soft opening for a $22 million hotel at the Black Oak Casino.

The 148-room facility will turn the casino into the largest hotel and meeting center in Tuolumne County The 116,000 square-foot building stands five stories and features a 6,000-square-foot conference center.

The grand opening for the hotel will be May 1.
