The Jamul Indian Village of California continues to face local opposition to its casino.

The tribe plans to build a $360 million, 200,000 square-foot facility on the reservation with the help of Penn National Gaming. Residents slammed the project a a public meeting last night, The San Diego Union-Tribune reported.

"Jamul is not Hollywood. The only stars we have here are the stars in the sky," County Supervisor Dianne Jacob said at the meeting, the paper reported.

The tribe says the facility will feature at least 1,700 slot machines, 50 table games, restaurants, bars, lounges and a parking structure with over 1,900 spaces.
