Bishop Paiute Tribe weighs $118M casino development project

Members of the Bishop Paiute Tribe of California will vote next week on a $118 million casino development project, The Inyo Register reports.

The tribe is planning to build a new facility on a 20-acre site south of the Paiute Palace Casino. The first phase would include a 60-room hotel, swimming pool and a restaurant, the paper said.

The vote takes place July 9.
