The Pala Band of Mission Indians in California has started an Internet gaming venture. Pala Interactive will go live as soon as Internet poker games are legalized. Phil Ivey, a professional poker play, is due to serve as the "brand ambassador" for the venture. The tribe is partnering with a former executive from an Internet gaming company on the site.
