A casino expansion is being eyed by leaders of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Reservation in Oregon.

The tribe will hire an architectural and engineering firm to come up with proposals for the Wildhorse Resort & Casino, The Confederated Umatilla Journal reported. A new hotel tower, a bowling alley and more event space are being considered although no decisions have been made at this point.

“It’s time to take over the market,” Justin Quaempts, a member of the tribal board of trustees, said at a meeting last week, the Journal reported. “It’s there for the taking. We need to think big and move forward. We’re at the center of the universe equal distance to Spokane, Seattle, Portland and Boise.”
