Tunica-Biloxi Tribe announces a new general manager for casino

The Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana has hired a new general manager for it casino.

Michael A. Hamilton brings more than 20 years of gaming experience to the Paragon Casino Resort. He most recently served as a vice president at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut.

"We are proud to have Mr. Hamilton join and lead the team at Paragon Casino Resort,” Chairman Chairman Joey P. Barbry said in a press release. “Michael’s experience working in all facets of gaming and resort operations at one of the world’s most thriving entertainment destinations, as well as his top-to-bottom knowledge and understanding of the business, will benefit Paragon customers and employees."

The hiring of Hamilton reflects a new partnership between the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe and the Mohegan Tribe. The two tribes signed an agreement for Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority to provide gaming, hospitality and entertainment consulting services at Paragon.
