Some faculty and students at Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute in New Mexico are unhappy with SIPI president Joseph Martin.

Students point to the suspension of the coach of the running program. No reason has been given for the suspension and some students have left as a result.

Teachers say they are being shuffled around from course to course with little explanation. One teacher resigned because she was "fed up" with the constant changes.

The SIPI Board of Regents says it supports Martin. The Bureau of Indian Affairs Office of Indian Education Programs in Washington, D.C., is reviewing the situation.
