Another First Nation sues over inadequate housing

Another First Nation in Manitoba has sued the federal government over inadequate housing on the reserve.

The Red Sucker Lake First Nation says the Canadian constitution ensures "essential public service" for all citizens. But a tribal lawyer says the government won't provide funds to replace sub-standard housing.

Last month, the Dakota Plains First Nation sued the government, saying every home on the reserve was contaminated by mold and other toxins.
