Tribal member spearheads reservation cleanup

Frank Rides At The Door got so tired of seeing trash on the Blackfeet Reservation in Montana that he decided to do something about it.

He developed a plan to pick up the trash, then convinced the tribe to fund it. Even after the money ran out, he continued to work because he was so dedicated.

Rides At The Door now has a full-time job with the tribe to focus on clean-up. But he says reservation residents aren't doing their part and don't take pride in the community. He thinks chronic dumpers should be sent to jail.

The tribe tries to empty community dumpsters once a week but sometimes that doesn't happen. Most of the tribe's garbage trucks are in poor condition.
