Cheyenne-Arapaho Tribes file notice of land claim


The Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes of Oklahoma have informed land title companies in Colorado of their claim to 30 percent of the state.

The tribes say their are the rightful owners of 27 million acres in eastern Colorado. They want to settle the claim for 500 acres and gaming rights.

The tribes informed 150 title companies of the claim, which could affect real estate prices.
