TV station finds fake Native art sold as authentic

A television station's report on fake Native jewelry being passed of as authentic has led a Santa Fe hotel to kick out Native vendors.

KRQE investigative reporter Larry Barker bought pieces of turquoise jewelry from vendors in front of the hotel. He had them tested and said they were plastic.

When told of the findings, the hotel decided to bar the half-dozen or so vendors from selling there.
