The Bush administration has failed to bring justice to Individual Indian Money (IIM) beneficiaries, a top New Mexico official said.

Benny Shendo, Secretary of Indian Affairs, said Native Americans should vote George W. Bush out of office. He made his comments at a forum for Navajo beneficiaries on Monday.

�Sometimes is just makes you sick, to think that our own government treats us (Native American) that way," he said, according to The Farmington Daily Times.

Dennis Gingold and Keith Harper, attorneys for the Cobell trust fund lawsuit, spoke at the forum to give Navajo landowners an update on the case. Gingold said Interior Secretary was worse than George Armstrong Custer and "should be given the same treatment," The Gallup Independent reported.
