Indian woman from Maine voted off 'Survivor'

A member of the Maliseet Tribe of Maine was kicked off the popular television show "Survivor" after making it through 13 episodes.

Julie Berry, 23, lost a chance at a $1 million prize after fellow contestants voted 3-2 against her. Only one episode was left.

Berry was adopted by a non-Indian family at a young age. She recently reunited with her biological sister and was active in Native American issues in college. She plans to work with at-risk youth.
