The government of New Zealand will return 13 lakes to a Maori tribe under a settlement being signed this weekend.
The deal settles a dispute that began nearly 100 years ago when a member of the Te Arawa Tribe was fined for fishing without a license. The tribe will now receive ownership of the lakes, $10 million and more fishing rights.
The government will also apologize for breaching the Treaty of Waitangi.
