Native man said to capture 'Bigfoot' on videotape

A Native man from the Norway House Cree Nation in Manitoba who is said to have captured Bigfoot on videotape has generated a flurry of media interest.

Bobby Clarke says he has a 49-second clip of a tall, dark figure roaming on the Nelson River. His family is convinced the image is of Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch, which means "wild man" or "hairy man" in the Salish language.

But Clarke isn't showing the tape to anyone now that he has received hundreds of calls and many visits to his house. The family is planning to enhance the video and possibly sell it.

There have been a number of sightings of Bigfoot on reservations in the U.S., mostly in the Great Plains and the Pacific Northwest.
