The owner of a liquor store in Oklahoma will paint over a mural considered to be offensive, The Native American Times reports.
The mural depicted a white man selling liquor to an Indian man. An Indian woman and several children appear in the background while the sale is completed.
Two Choctaw Nation women objected to the mural and other tribal members got involved. The tribe subsequently contacted the owner of the store, who agreed to paint over the mural.
