The Boys and Girls Club of the Northern Cheyenne Nation in Montana underwent a makeover thanks to $250,000 in federal funding.

The money was used to replace the ceiling and roof, which was plagued with leaks. "We called it the Lame Deer rainforest," Rick Robinson, the club's chief professional officer, told The Billings Gazette. The money was also used to remodel the interior of the building and clean up asbestos in the attic.

The club opened 12 years ago. At the time, it was only third Boys and Girls Club in Indian Country. The organization now counts 190 clubs on reservations.
