Arizona tribe's resort employs unique concierge


The Gila River Indian Community's resort has a unique title for a unique employee. Ginger Martin, a 32-year-old tribal member, is a cultural concierge.

Martin grew up on the reservation, immersed in her tribal heritage. She now shares her life and culture with visitors to the resort.

The resort features details of the Pima and Maricopa people who make up the tribe. Martin's background is Pima and she tells visitors about everything from dances to arts and crafts.
