Northern Cheyenne Tribe's lawsuit questioned

Officials of the Catholic Church and the St. Labre Indian School in Montana are disputing a lawsuit filed by the Northern Cheyenne Tribe.

The officials say there was never an agreement to share funds raised by the church and the school with the tribe. They also say 62 percent of St. Labre students are members of the tribe, with 92 percent being Indian.

The tribe says the church and the school have raised millions by exploiting poverty on the reservation. The tribe wants an accounting and damages.
