Red Lake students to hold prom off the reservation

Students at the Red Lake High School in Minnesota will celebrate their prom off the reservation for the first time in recent memory.

Officials decided to move the prom to Bemidji in light of the March 21 shootings that took place at the school. So students are headed to Bemidji State University's field house on Saturday night.

Normally only juniors and seniors are invited to the prom but this year it's open to freshmen and sophomores.
