Abramoff tribes gave $153K to Montana delegation

Montana's Congressional delegation took $153,000 from disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff and his tribal clients, The Great Falls Tribune reports.

Sen. Conrad Burns (R-Montana) got the most. Abramoff, two associates, his old lobbying firm and five ex-tribal clients gave $127,000 in just two years -- 2001 and 2002.

Rep. Denny Rehberg (R-Montana) came in second with $11,000 in 2004 and $10,000. The money came from Abramoff and his tribal clients.

Finally, Sen. Max Baucus (D-Montana) received $5,000 over the past four year. The money came from the Saginaw Chippewa Tribe of Michigan and the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians from California.
