The Blackfeet Nation council will be getting a new chairman and vice chairman.

Pat Thomas won a secret ballot to serve as chairman. Jay St. Goddard was selected as vice chairman.

Thomas replaces William "Allen" Talks About, who was removed from his position in June amid concerns over his decisions and leadership style. A public hearing was held last Thursday to discuss his removal.
