Pala Band, county extend law enforcement services


The Pala Band of Mission Indians and San Diego County are renewing their law enforcement agreement.

Under the agreement, the county provides law enforcement services to the reservation. The tribe pays the county for the salaries of a sheriff's deputy and a second officer, along with other associated costs.

The agreement will expire in November 2007.
