Newcomer elected as chairman of Mohegan Tribe

Bruce "Two Dogs" Bozsum was elected chairman of the Mohegan Tribe's council on Monday.

Bozsum, 45, is a newcomer to tribal politics. He has served one term on the council and was just re-elected to a second term after receiving the most votes in a late August election.

Bozsum replaces Mark Brown, who remains on the council but was among the lowest vote-getters in the election. A total of six newcomers were elected.
