Listening Lounge: Hearing on FY2007 budget request


The Senate Indian Affairs Committee held a hearing this afternoon on President Bush's fiscal year 2007 budget request. Rather than hold two separate hearings -- one for federal witnesses and the other for tribal leaders -- the committee rolled both into one hearing.
