A man from Canada has been charged in federal court for using the Colville Reservation in Washington to transport large quantities of marijuana and pills.
Kevin Haughton, 41, was arrested by tribal police last week. He is believed to be the pilot of a float plane that contained about $2 million worth of marijuana and pills believed to be Ecstasy.
Tribal police said float planes have been used to make drug drops on the reservation at least two times in the last four months.
