Navajo Nation to open Early Head Start program

The Navajo Nation will open its Early Head Start program for the summer now that the federal government has released $9.2 million in funds.

The Administration for Children and Families suspended all the tribe's Head Start funding after a review of employees found some with criminal backgrounds.

The tribe had to shut down the Head Start program but is working to address the situation.

The Early Head Start session starts today.
