Northern Arapaho hold Sun Dance without incident

Members of the Northern Arapaho Tribe of Wyoming held a Sun Dance on Wednesday without incident.

Gerald Redman Sr., a Northern Arapaho ceremonial leader, said there were "rumors" about potential trouble over a dispute involving the Southern Arapaho in Oklahoma.

A Sun Dance being held in Oklahoma last month was disrupted because tribal leaders say it wasn't authorized. Two men who helped organize it face charges in Northern Arapaho tribal court.

The Wyoming Arapahos say the Oklahoma Arapahos "lost" the ceremony and don't have a right to perform it.
