Vandals cause damage at Haskell University pool


In incidents over the weekend, vandals caused between $15,000 and $20,000 damage at Haskell Indian Nations University in Kansas, The Lawrence Journal-World reports.

In the first incident, someone discharged a fire extinguisher into the pool. The second incident resulted in more damage, with items including a shed, weight equipment, fans, floor buffers and lifeguard chairs thrown into the pool.

The pool had been locked over the weekend.
