BIA boarding school evacuated after bomb threat

A Bureau of Indian Affairs boarding school on the Navajo Nation was placed on lockdown and evacuated after receiving a bomb threat on Monday.

Students were sent home after nine notes were found at the Choosh'gai Boarding School. Law enforcement authorities from the tribe, New Mexico and Arizona responded as officers searched for a possible bomb.

Nothing was found after several hours. The school reopened for classes on Tuesday.

Another school on the reservation received a bomb threat last week.
