Crow Reservation man admits assault on teen boy
Thursday, November 2, 2006

A man from the Crow Reservation in Montana pleaded guilty to assaulting a 13-year-old boy who hid the man's keys to prevent him from driving drunk.

Adrian Spang Sr., 38, was drinking and went to go look for his car keys. When he found out that the teen took the keys, he hit the boy, threw him to the ground and knocked him unconscious for a brief time.

The boy woke up and ran to a relative's house and called for help. He was later treated at the hospital. Gazette News Services did not specify the relationship between the boy and Spang.

Spang faces five years in prison and a $250,000 fine when he is sentenced on January 31.
