Search for two Red Lake brothers called off

Federal and tribal officials called of the air and ground search for two brothers who went missing on the Red Lake Reservation in Minnesota five days ago.

But the Red Lake Nation and the FBI vowed to continue looking for Tristan A. White, 4, and Avery Lee Stately, 2. "We won't stop until they are found," special agent Paul McCabe said, The Minneapolis Star Tribune reported.

White and Stately went missing from their front lawn on Wednesday morning. Within an hour, the tribe organized a search for the boys.

The FBI soon joined in, offered a $20,000 reward and set up a tip line. But triple checks of the area haven't turned up any clues as temperatures dropped on the reservation.

Authorities haven't found any signs of foul play. They don't know whether the boys wandered off or were taken.

Anyone with information should contact the FBI at 612-376-3200, or the Red Lake Tribal Police Department at 218-679-3313.
