Northern Cheyenne youth honor ancestors on run

More than 100 youth of the Northern Cheyenne Tribe of Montana took part in this year's Fort Robinson Spiritual Run.

The run commemorates the January 9, 1879, escape by Northern Cheyenne ancestors from an Army fort in Nebraska. They tried to make it back home to Montana but were massacred by soldiers.

The youth complete the 400-mile run in relays. They made it to the reservation on Saturday.
